Masks and Proof of Vaccination No Longer Required

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have monitored regional COVID-19 data and followed the guidance of the CDC and our partners at UCHealth, as well as public health and government officials, to implement mitigation protocols that provide a safe and comfortable environment for the enjoyment of live, symphonic music.

As the number of Covid-19 cases continues to decline in the region, we have adjusted our protocols accordingly. Beginning March 14, patrons will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test to attend our performances, and the wearing of masks in Boettcher Concert Hall will be optional.

Boettcher Concert Hall is at the southwest end of the Denver Performing Arts Complex  located at 14th & Curtis Streets in downtown Denver. Please arrive early to ensure ease of parking and an on-time arrival. With numerous other events happening at the Performing Arts Complex all the time, parking fills up quickly.

ALTERNATIVE PARKING

To provide for the safety of all guests and employees at Boettcher Concert Hall and the entire Denver Performing Arts Complex, Denver Arts & Venues provides enhanced security measures at Boettcher Concert Hall. These security measures include Evolv contactless security screening and may include bag checks.

We encourage you to arrive up to an hour early, prior to the start of your event. This will alleviate congestion in all walk ways and entrances and will allow for proper screening. To review a full list of permitted and prohibited items, please visit artscomplex.com.

About Touchless Screening

Inside Boettcher Concert Hall, Buell Theatre and Ellie Caulkins Opera House, we have a touchless screening system that ensures safer, more accurate threat detection at a seamless pace to eliminate long entry lines. The technology identifies unknown metal objects on a separate digital monitor and notifies staff when secondary screening is necessary. If the device sounds an alert, you may be asked by staff to participate in additional screening before proceeding. Please note, things like a metal clasp or chain on a purse, or an eyeglass case can sometimes trigger the alert, so we appreciate your patience and understanding if you asked to participate in further screening. The Colorado Symphony Box Office is in the lobby of Boettcher Concert Hall, located at the southwest end of the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Allow plenty of time for ticket pick-up and parking. Will Call is typically located right outside the Box Office and lobby, and is busiest 30 – 45 minutes prior to the show. Please have your ID ready to help our agents find your tickets quickly. You may also pick up your tickets any time the Boettcher Concert Hall Box Office is open. Box Office hours are Mon-Fri: 11:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Sat: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (only when a performance is scheduled and only in person).

For fastest entry, have your tickets scanned directly from your email. Tickets will arrive in a separate email from your order confirmation.

You may also access tickets from your Colorado Symphony account: Simply log in to your account from coloradosymphony.org and select “My Upcoming Events”. Tickets will be accessible online 2 hours before the event, at which time you will see a button that says “View Mobile Tickets”.

Held in the Bach Room of Boettcher Concert Hall, these family-friendly activities take place one hour prior to both Family and ‘family friendly’ concerts. Check lobby signage for directions to our new HalfNotes area. Activities are individually curated for each concert and will feature a unique craft and an instrument petting zoo!

We love when our patrons dress up, but please follow the guidelines put in place by the City of Denver, who operates Boettcher Concert Hall. Patrons are allowed to wear costumes that comply with the following stipulations:

• NO real, simulated, or perceived weapons will be permitted. Security personnel reserve the final decision authority on what is considered a weapon.
• NO realistic military, police, fireman, or security costumes will be permitted. Security personnel reserve the final decision authority on what is considered realistic.
• NO items that could be transferred onto the seats or other patrons clothing, i.e. excessive fake blood, make-up, face paint, glitter, etc.
• NO items that would obstruct another patron’s view and sightline to the stage.
• NO bulky costumes or costume items that would obstruct the aisles.
  Costumed patrons consent to searches of their person, which may include pat downs.

Items identified on or under costumes that could pose a potential security or safety concern must be stored away from Boettcher Concert Hall; these items will NOT be permitted to be checked into the coat check. Security personnel reserve the final decision authority on what is considered a security or safety concern.

All patrons must consent to a visual search of bags, purses, or backpacks. No such item larger than 24” wide and/or 24” tall and/or 12” thick will be allowed in the house of the theatre. These items will be allowed to be checked into the coat check. All patrons are encouraged to arrive early to this performance to accommodate these additional security measures to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
